I am writing to you as I am concerned about the issue of marine litter.

During my regular walks along the beach at [insert your local area], it’s not unusual to see it littered with empty plastic bottles, take away boxes and other packaging, despite rubbish bins being available.

The big, bold and unmissable, lifebuoy shaped recycling bin for plastics has a tagline - Throw Marine Life a Lifeline. The graphics on the bin face shows the effects of marine plastic litter on wildlife and human health.

Over one million plastic bottles are collected in the bins each year and sent for recycling by the various councils and private estates the charity works with.
